Medford - Vincentown Rotary Club Halloween Parade

Reilly Reporting Time:  6:30 PM

Reilly Entry into Parade: 7:30 PM

Reporting Location:  Medford Ford Parking Lot, 186 Route 70, Medford, NJ, 08055

Parking:  Bus and Car Parking in the Medford Ford Parking Lot (Entry on right side of building)

Parade Route:  Start at St. Mary's School and continue up Main Street to the Judges stand located at Main and Trimble and then to Haines School at 162 Stokes Road.

Directions to Medford Ford:  Take SR 70 East. Follow this route until you come to the town of Medford, NJ.  You will see the Medford FORD dealership on the right side of the road.  Pull in parking lot and park in the rear.  Assembly area is to the left of the parking lot.

4:30 pm           Bus arrives at K-Mart parking lot, Willow Grove, PA
5:00 pm           Bus departs promptly for Medford, NJ

6:30 pm           Reilly muster time in Medford Ford parking lot

BUS WILL LEAVE MEDFORD FORD PARKING LOT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!!!!!  THE EARLIER THE BUS LEAVES THE PARKING LOT THE CLOSER THE DRIVER CAN GET TO THE END OF THE PARADE FOR PICK UP.

Bus will pick up members at the end of Parade. Bus will leave Medford, NJ immediately following the parade for return to Willow Grove, PA.

Consolidated Fire Department Fire Association Halloween Parade

Reilly Reporting Time:  1:00 PM

Reilly Entry into Parade: Parade steps off at 2:00 PM 

Reporting Location:  Elizabeth Street between 2nd Street and Route 130 in Bordentown

Car Parking: In a lot on the grounds of Poor Clare's Estates adjacent to Lafayette Street. 

Uniform:  Show Shirt

Parade Route:

Down Elizabeth St., right on Second turning left onto Park St. , left onto Farnsworth Ave. The parade will continue onto Farnsworth left Ave. and make a left turn onto East Union Street then left onto Crosswicks St going in front of Reviewing Stand in front of Clare's Estates. The parade will end by turning down Lafayette St. to end.

 

DIRECTIONS TO BORDENTOWN, NJ:

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike: travel east on the PA Turnpike.  Cross the river into New Jersey and take the Florence exit (this is before the toll booth).  This exit then divides.  Stay to the right and take the ramp for Bordentown/Route 130 north.  Continue on 130 north to Bordentown, ** turn left onto Farnsworth Avenue (there is an Acme on the left).  Go 2 blocks and turn right onto Union Street.  At Crosswicks Street, turn left and then make the first right onto Lafayette Street.  There will be officials there to direct parking.

From Walt Whitman Bridge: – cross bridge into New Jersey and follow signs for Route #295 north.  This exit is on your extreme right.  Proceed north on Interstate @295 to Exit 57, Bordentown/Route 130 north. (This will be the second Bordentown exit.  Do not take the exit for Route 206 and the New Jersey Turnpike).  As soon as you come off the ramp, merge all the way to the left.  At the first traffic light, continue from ** above.

After the parade at the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085 will provide food for Reilly, 11 Amboy Road, Bordentown, NJ 08505. (Our sponsor for the Elks Parade in Wildwood)

Directions from Lafayette St. to Elks Lodge:  South on Lafayette Street to Crosswicks Street, bear Left on Crosswicks St (SR 528), Turn left (North) on US 130/206, then left on US 206 for ~0.5 mile, bear right onto Amboy Road. Lodge is a short distance on the left.

PLYMOUTH, MA - 11/21, 11/22 and 11/23.

Reilly has guaranteed the committee of the America’s Hometown Celebration that we will have 60 members on the floor for the evening show. Please everyone make your plans accordingly, remember you committed to this event earlier this year, please live up to your commitment.

The parade will be on Saturday morning with the concert following on Saturday evening. Details for the weekend reporting times for parade and show will be posted in the lobby of the Comfort Inn on Friday.

Bus will leave from K-mart at 6:30 am Friday 11/21. Bus will return from Plymouth, MA on Sunday 11/23 morning following breakfast.

Please let your section leader know your intentions, bus or driving. Kathy Hook must have your name and whom you will be rooming with on or before October 31st.

Reilly has guaranteed the rooms by credit card and on November 5^th the final rooming list will be submitted. Cost per room will be the same as last year.  $119.00 plus 11.7% tax (per room, per night). If two people share a room the cost per person will be $132.92 for the weekend.

For Reilly’s convenience the Comfort Inn has committed to a trolley to run back and forth in town on Friday evening 5pm to 11pm.  Free continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, plus beverage and snack upon arrival on Friday evening.

December Lottery Tickets –

Tickets for December lottery have been distributed either at practice or via USPS to address on file – each member is responsible for selling 10 lottery tickets.  Stubs along with payment must be submitted to Harry Hook or any Board member by December 1st to be eligible for the drawings starting December 1st at 7 pm.

MEMBERSHIP SHARES DUE

All members are required to pay membership shares.  Each member is $15.00 or $25.00 per household per month. October is due now. You can pay monthly, a few months at a time or pay for the year.  Please see Tony Arena to make your payments as soon as possible.  Your status as a member in good standing of the Reilly Raiders depends on paying your member share.  If there are special circumstances preventing you from paying your share timely, please talk to any board member about your situation.

All practices, unless otherwise noted, will be held on Sundays at the Knights of Columbus,

235 Limekiln Pike, Glenside, PA with starting time promptly at 1:00 p.m.
