Robert "Bobby" Adair, long time music arranger and instructor, passed on September 21, 2011.  Bob joined the Osmond Cadets in 1941. In 1947 he became the VFW Junior National Champion soprano soloist at age 12. He marched with Osmond for 10 years, (VFW Champions in 1948 & 1949). While in Osmond, he also studied drumming under the legendary John Dowlan, and joined Dowlan and Hall of Famer Harry Ginther to make up the snare line of the Reilly Raiders in 1952 & 1953, (A.L. National Championships). Bob then returned to his interest as solo soprano, becoming music instructor of the Raiders in 1957, (VFW National Championships 1957-58-59) continuing through 1965. Corps instructed included Liberty Bell Cadets (52-58), Haddon Heights Vagabonds (drums) (55-61), Bracken Cadets (59-71), and Reilly Raiders Alumni (94-98). Other corps arranged for and instructed include: Pittsburgh Rockets, Williamsport Black Eagles, Philadelphia PAL, Earls of Bucks, Bordentown Little Devils, Cramer Hill Rough Riders, Oakenshield, and St Helena's Golden Eagles. Bob is a Lifetime Member of the Reilly Raiders, a 2010 inductee In the Pennsylvania Drum Corps Hall of Fame, and also served as Membership Chairman of the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame for 5 years before stepping down in 2005. Bob was Music Coordinator/ arranger for the recently formed Bracken Cavaliers Alumni Corps, Bristol, Pa.  Bob was a member of the National Judges Association.
